Baskit Privacy Policy

We collect information you provide directly to us, including:

• your name, email address, organization, and account information;
• forms, surveys, signups, schedules, invitations, and other content you create;
• contact information you upload or enter;
• responses and information submitted through Baskit forms or signups;
• communications with Baskit; and
• billing and subscription information.

When you use the Services, we may also automatically collect information such as your IP address, browser, device type, pages viewed, feature usage, and general location derived from your IP address.

We may use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, maintain security, understand product usage, and improve the Services.

People who create activities through Baskit are referred to as “Organizers.” People who receive or respond to those activities are referred to as “Participants.”

Organizers determine what information they request, why it is collected, and how it is used. Organizers are responsible for having permission to upload contacts, send communications, and collect Participant information.

Questions about a specific form, signup, survey, invitation, or communication should generally be directed to the Organizer who created it.

We use information to:

• create and manage accounts;
• provide forms, signups, surveys, scheduling, invitations, and communications;
• store and display responses;
• deliver emails, reminders, and confirmations;
• process payments;
• provide customer support;
• maintain security and prevent fraud or abuse;
• analyze and improve the Services;
• provide AI-assisted features;
• communicate about Baskit; and
• comply with legal obligations.

We may use aggregated or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify an individual.

Baskit may offer AI-assisted tools that help create or revise forms, invitations, messages, schedules, or other content.

When you use these tools, we may process your prompts, selected content, generated results, and feedback. AI-generated content may be inaccurate or incomplete, and you are responsible for reviewing it before using or sending it.

Do not enter passwords, financial information, detailed medical information, Social Security numbers, or other highly sensitive information into Baskit's AI tools.

We will not knowingly use identifiable Participant responses or private contact lists to train a publicly available general-purpose AI model without appropriate notice or permission.

We may share information:

• with Organizers and people they authorize;
• with Participants as necessary to provide an activity;
• with service providers that support hosting, email delivery, payments, analytics, authentication, customer support, security, and AI features;
• with third-party integrations you choose to connect;
• when required by law or necessary to protect Baskit, our users, or others;
• as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of the business; or
• with your consent or at your direction.

Baskit does not sell personal information for money.

Some activities may be available through a public or shared link. Organizers should review their visibility settings before publishing content.

You may receive account notices, confirmations, reminders, invitations, and other communications related to activities you join.

You may unsubscribe from Baskit marketing emails using the link in the email. You may still receive important account or service-related messages.

Communications sent by an Organizer are controlled by that Organizer. You may contact the Organizer or use any available unsubscribe option if you no longer wish to receive those messages.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, maintain security, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. However, no online service can guarantee complete security.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information.

If your information was collected through an activity created by an Organizer, we may direct your request to that Organizer.

You may request deletion of your Baskit account through your account settings, where available, or by contacting us.

Baskit is not directed to children under 13, and children under 13 may not create Baskit accounts.

Baskit may be used by parents, schools, teams, or organizations to coordinate activities involving children. Organizers are responsible for obtaining any permissions required to collect or use information concerning children.

Where possible, information about a child should be submitted by a parent, guardian, teacher, coach, or other authorized adult.

If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information directly to Baskit, contact us at privacy@trybaskit.com.

Unless Baskit expressly supports the intended use, do not use the Services to collect:

• Social Security or government identification numbers;
• passwords or financial account credentials;
• complete payment-card information;
• detailed medical or educational records;
• biometric information; or
• other highly sensitive information.

Baskit may link to or integrate with third-party services. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and Baskit is not responsible for their practices.

We may update this Privacy Policy as our Services and practices change. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice and update the effective date above.
